PROGRAM OUTLINE: 



MGMT102 Intro to Entrepreneurship


The Effective Entrepreneur understands that  Time Management course is the foundation of success. This course will help you to identify time challenges and set goals for prioritizing and planning in order to more effectively use your time. This practical, interactive course is online and self-paced, and it teaches strategies for maximizing personal effectiveness and how to alleviate common stressors through effective time management. At the end of this course, students will be able to identify the benefits of effectively managing time, evaluate the use of your time, organize a daily prioritized plan, identify external and internal time wasters, and describe effective delegation methods. 



ENTR100   The Canna-Business Blueprint


This course provides the entrepreneur with a guide through the process of business start-up. The student will evaluate the mindset, skills, and commitment necessary to successfully operate an entrepreneurial venture. Additionally, the student will review the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship as well as exploring platforms to achieve their goal. Students will also understand the law of business formation, and the role of entrepreneurship in the local, national, and global economy.




FIN202   Canna-Business Finance


In this course students build a solid foundation by learning the fundamentals of accounting and banking and how it relates within the Cannabis industry. Students receive hands on practice, including case studies, and how to read financial statements. Topics include, managing cash flow, calculating net profit, and calculating net worth.  Upon completion, students should be able to understand Financial Statements and how to solve accounting problems.



MKTG104    Customer Service Excellence


In this course, students are introduced to CRM, a strategic methodology that recognizes customers as the core of the business. Customer Service, or lack of it, is one of the most important topics in business today. Quality customer service is now expected, no matter what type of business/service you are involved in. Students will learn a usable process for developing the skills, attitudes and thinking patterns needed to win customer satisfaction and loyalty. This course will examine the importance of creating long-term value for the customer and business. 



INTRO102   The Business of Cannabis


This course provides the entrepreneur with  guide through the most comprehensive education available for entering Enrepreneurship in the Cannabis industry. This course consists of resources, presentations, and mastery exercises in process of business start-up. Each module is developed by an industry leader, and is designed for anyone looking to learn about the cannabis industry and best practices when starting a Canna-business. 




ENTR150   Building Effective Teams


The primary focus of this course is to identify the top-level executives needed to provide strategic leadership in business organizations. Students will learn about the roles, functions, and responsibilities of the C-suite in order to learn the administrative requirements of leadership. In addition, students will be introduced to Mentors, Advisory boards, and the analytical, problem solving, and financial management skills of highly effective leaders. Case studies, articles, and other media will be used to explore these and related issues. 




ENTR250   Canna-Business Branding​​ 


This course teaches the strategic and creative management of brands. Students will examine how innovative leaders create brands that connect with customers by studying customer lifestyles, tapping into cultural meanings, managing customer experiences, and executing brand strategies across touchpoints—from naming and visual identity to advertising, new media, retail, packaging, product innovation, and service. This course equips you with the theory, tools and techniques of branding and brand management to create, analyze, and evaluate brands and manage them for maximum profit. The focus is on how one penetrates a market for the first time in a company which has no established market presence.




MGMT105   Succeful Strategies in Human Resources


This course will introduce and overview the major topics in Human Resource Management (HRM). HRM is a fundamental component of the competitiveness, effectiveness, and sustainability of any organization, as it influences who is hired, how they are trained, evaluated, compensated, and what steps are taken to retain them. The course includes an overview of basic human resource management practices, including job design, recruitment/selection, training/development, performance management, compensation, and labor relations. 



MKTG105  Professional Selling & Strategic Canna-Marketing 


This course reviews and applies entrepreneurial marketing and sales approaches used by successful entrepreneurs. These include utilizing industry sector trends, small business advantages, identifying emerging customer niches, developing new products/services, using guerilla marketing strategies, Internet, email, word of mouth, and social media marketing strategies. Explore the relationship between a well-developed sales plan and successfully raising start-up capital.



Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course.
